Well, I will be going home next week, thanks to the support and caring from the Linda Mar Staff. When my leg was amputated in June, I considered my life over. But now, I am on the road to recovery. I am stronger in mind and body. Linda Mar has an amazing staff. From the lowest, to the highest, they all make sure residents are comfy and safe. Due to other surgeries, I have been in four other skilled nursing facilities. None hold a candle to Linda Mar!

It’s been two and a half weeks since my mother, Bernice J., came to your facility at Linda Mar Nursing and Rehab. I want to thank the whole staff for ensuring her a speedy recovery so she can be back with her immediate family and friends. While at Linda Mar, I have seen a positive outcome in my mother. The therapy staff is outstanding and I will recommend this facility to anyone who needs nursing home care.

I witnessed your staff, from CNAs to housekeepers, to nurses, go beyond the call of duty to provide truly outstanding care to your patients. The attention to detail you exhibit should be used as a model for other rehab centers to follow. Thank you for being such a fine example of what could be expected by those who require nursing care. In my last week as a patient at Linda Mar Rehabilitation, I find myself reflecting on my experience here. My first meeting with Linda Mar’s exceptional administrator, Carly O. comes to mind. Over time I came to know that Ms. Olsen has a deep desire to maintain very high standards for this beautiful 59-bed facility in her care. I have seen her hire only the best employees to grace her staff. I’ve seen her heart look as though it would nearly bust with compassion for the residents of Linda Mar Rehabilitation.
The social worker at Linda Mar is also of the highest caliber and is dedicated to her job. The excellent CNAs and nurses (I could name so many) provide care with kindness and a spirit of compassion. The therapy staff is extremely skilled and so wonderful to work with and the housekeepers not only kept the facility beautiful, but always had a kind word and a smile for me as they went about their work.
I feel as though I have found a new family here. I will be glad to go home on Friday, but will be sad to leave this warm, lovely place and all of the wonderful people I’ve met here.
