I’m amazed at the staff. I’ve visited and worked in nursing facilities. My mother 95 is getting warm and good care while having therapy after a partial hip replacement. My mother was an RN and is usually critical of facilities. She keeps saying Linda Mar is nice and clean. It is. They have a very nice patio that allows you to enjoy the ocean breeze. This is used a lot for visiting. The staff is conscientious and caring. At the same time, they take the time to get to know the patients and bring joy to their life. The place is well maintained. This place was highly recommended by professionals.
Thank you for taking such good care of Claire over the 11 years she was at Linda Mar. She really enjoyed all of the relationships she developed over the years and the more recent ones as well. You were her family too and made her final years as comfortable as possible. Thanks so much!
I just learned that Linda Mar Rehab was ranked one of the Top 25 Skilled Nursing Homes in America. I have gotten to know the staff and patients and it is such a friendly, welcoming nursing home and rehab center. They recently got a new Director of Rehab and she is amazing, and there is also a Physiatrist on staff who heads up the whole rehab department. The food is good too. The chef is very dedicated to keeping the menu full of variety, healthy, and fun, and works with the Director of Activities to give Linda Mar an almost recreational camp like quality. There are always activities or something outdoors to participate.
I highly recommend Linda Mar for any rehab need. They specialize in physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, cardiac rehab, stroke rehab, and wound treatment.
Linda Mar Rehab just got ranked as one of the best nursing homes in America! So fun that it is right here in the SF Bay!
Besides the awesome care and fun activities for the patients, they also have individual TVs for each bed, free wireless and internet plugins throughout the whole facility, and complimentary coffee for the visitors of patients.
It has such a welcoming, homey environment. And when I visited, there was a piano player in the rec room and many patients were singing along and looked to be really enjoying themselves.
